The glistening outdoor rooftop pool at Cordis Hotel is sure to impress even the most die-hard city slickers. Towering over Mongkok’s streets, this stunning pool offers a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong’s urban jungle. Make sure to get there early enough to nab a spot by the cabanas and enjoy some uninterrupted laps in, or grab a spot on the surrounded deck to soak up some sun and enjoy the stunning view of the city skyline.

A favourite amongst locals, this spacious HK swimming pool is a great option for families. With a large main pool, a diving pool and a training pool for adults, there is something to suit every swimmer here. They also have a large kiddie pool for the little ones, and a range of water slides for all ages.

Located inside the UNO Health & Kinesiology Building, this large HK pool is the on-campus practice and competition venue for the University of Nebraska at Omaha swimming & diving program. It features six lanes, three diving boards and a seating area that can accommodate up to 800 spectators. The natatorium is also home to the Omaha diving team, and has extensive locker rooms, on-deck bleacher seating for swimmers, coaches’ offices, and a wet classroom for coaching classes.

There are a few things to note about this HK swimming pool: while it is open to the public, it is free for students with an ID card. Moreover, the pools are heated during winter, so they are a wonderful place to escape the cold!

If you’re planning to move to Hong Kong with your family, be sure to check out the swimming pool facilities of any developments that you’re considering. Typically, larger multi-tower developments will have a 50-metre outdoor pool and an indoor pool, while smaller single-tower complexes may only have a small outdoor pool. However, there are also a few private pools available for residents, and they usually charge an extra fee to use them. Be sure to research them carefully before signing on the dotted line!
